INTERN AND VOLUNTEER WORK
"The Best Way to Find Yourself, Is to Lose Yourself In The Service Of Others"
As a clinical intern, I work in a space that encourages exploration of therapeutic modalities that I can implement in private practice. I can also develop my writing skills by contributing to the company blog and learning about the ins and outs of starting a private practice after graduation. I am currently working on redesigning a curriculum for a substance use recovery program and working on my Substack that singles out athletes in the mental health space.

I have seen the difference volunteering has on communities, and it's a part of my life that I plan to keep doing for as long as I can. Volunteering is a passion of mine that allows me to connect with all types of communities and allows me to use my introspective skills to assist the causes I believe in.

Volunteering at the Voices of Muslim Women Foundation has been a turning point in my life as I pursue my graduate studies. VMW has been the place where I am able to do the groundwork of assisting and advocating for equal access to education for girls by providing educational and professional development curricula and events.
